TRYOUT ELIGIBILITY

1 – REGISTRATION FEE MUST BE PAID
2 – NEW PLAYERS MUST HAVE PRESENTED A BIRTH CERTIFICATE
3 – NEW MEMBER FAMILY MUST HAVE SHOWN PROOF OF RESIDENCE

Little League requires all players that play in a competitive division (8-12 yr olds) to attend a tryout.  There are no tryouts for players already assigned to a major division team.  A player's age for the 2021 season is determined as their age as of August 31, 2021.

The tryouts are to assist the managers and coaches in evaluating the abilities of the players for eventual team selection. All players regardless of ability will be placed on a team.

Each tryout session is designated to a specific age group, date and time. It is most important that the player attend the assigned session. Please arrive to the tryouts at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time wearing appropriate clothing to include sweat/baseball pants cups, heart guard and sneakers/cleats (depending on surface being used for tryout). Important that a player bring his/her baseball glove and a bat. 

Baseball tryouts will first occur sometime in October or November on the Bedell Ave side of our complex. Check the main page of our website, or check your email for actual dates & times.

Additional tryout dates and location will be posted on this website and announced via e-mail and text in advance of the tryout dates.  

If you haven't yet registered please do this via on line registration on this website at ssllonline.com before you come down to the tryout. 

Additional Notes:
Failure by a player to attend a tryout may result in being placed on a standby list pending an eventual opening.

Unless you are notified in advance, regardless as to weather conditions, the player should arrive at the field for the scheduled session. If there are any changes to the above scheduled sessions you will be notified by email or phone.

Age for the 2021 Baseball season is determined by the players age as of August 31, 2021.
